CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist) — Travel

Location

Wichita, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required (1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month)

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub and assist during open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
  • Support vascular surgical cases as a trained vascular technologist
  • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 2-room open heart unit with potential use of a third room
  • Collaborate with a team of CVOR RNs and CSTs to ensure safe, efficient surgical care
  • Utilize Meditech/CPN EMR system for documentation and patient records
  • Participate in on-call coverage as required by unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
  • Must be vascular trained
  • BLS certification required
  • NBSTSA Certification required
  • Current active Kansas (KS) licensure required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • ACLS certification
  • Open heart and broader cardiovascular surgical experience
  • Prior experience with Meditech EMR
