CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist) — Travel
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required (1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month)
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist during open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
- Support vascular surgical cases as a trained vascular technologist
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 2-room open heart unit with potential use of a third room
- Collaborate with a team of CVOR RNs and CSTs to ensure safe, efficient surgical care
- Utilize Meditech/CPN EMR system for documentation and patient records
- Participate in on-call coverage as required by unit guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
- Must be vascular trained
- BLS certification required
- NBSTSA Certification required
- Current active Kansas (KS) licensure required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Open heart and broader cardiovascular surgical experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
