Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed-acuity unit serving both PCU and Medical Surgical patients
• Perform and manage IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy management
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed based on staffing priorities
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — valid compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BCLS certification required
• EPIC experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership capacity (charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Former employees must have been away from the facility for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible; current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
