Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Full-Time | Day/Evening Rotating | Expected 40 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across a day/evening rotating schedule, with shift options including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts based on unit need
• Assist with circulating and scrubbing responsibilities as needed within the operating room
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using EPIC
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed, including evening (1500–2300), night (2300–0700), and weekend (0700–1900 and 1900–0700) call rotations
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Valid compact or state RN license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neuro, thoracic, ENT, orthopedic, general, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and/or robotics (Da Vinci) procedures; proficiency rating of 3–4 preferred
• Oncology surgical experience
• Circulate and scrub experience in an operating room setting
