Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume OR environment serving specialties including General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, Colorectal, and Robotics
• Circulate in the OR is required</strong>; scrub experience is preferred
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate hospital locations as required
• Participate in on-call coverage — expected approximately 6 call shifts per 6-week period, subject to variation
• Work a holiday rotation — expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license — must be in hand prior to start; no pending licenses accepted at time of submission
• BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience required
• Level I Trauma experience is required
• Must be well-rounded across most OR service lines; CV and Transplant experience not required
• Nursing degree from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
• Indiana residents are welcome and accepted for this Surgical Services position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in addition to circulating
• Candidates with at least 1 year of Level I Trauma experience and a minimum of 2 years of total OR experience may be considered
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
