Contract | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU environment with patient ratios of 1:2–4
- Float between units as needed to support staffing across the facility
- Adhere to a block scheduling model, including 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period on a variable, self-scheduling basis
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered at an adjusted rate)
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at the time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)
- Background must be clear; facility does not accept background hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level III NICU experience strongly preferred, as this is a Level IV unit
- Candidates open to contracts longer than 13 weeks are encouraged to apply
