Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | No On-Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Oncology unit with an estimated patient ratio of 1:3–4, flexing to 1:5
• Administer and monitor IV therapy using Baxter pumps, including blood and electrolyte replacement
• Maintain strict intake and output monitoring and adhere to neutropenic precautions
• Perform and document CHG baths and linen changes every 24 hours, dressing changes every 7 days, and line/cap changes every 96 hours
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Oncology nursing experience
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Ability to adhere to unit-specific protocols including neutropenic precautions and strict I&O

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hematology/Oncology (HemOnc) background
• Chemotherapy certification
