Key Responsibilities
- Utilize imaging, computer, and related equipment to produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality to support accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Prepare patients for procedures, provide education, and respond to questions or concerns using an age-appropriate approach to communication and safety
- Apply proper patient positioning, imaging technique, infection control, and quality control procedures
- Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their clinical training
Required Qualifications
- ARRT(R) certification required
- State Radiology Tech License (RAD) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in general radiology
