Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients of all ages
• Independently perform 2nd- and 3rd-trimester OB ultrasound imaging, including fetal anatomy, growth, and biophysical profile examinations
• Collaborate closely with the physician team to support accurate interpretation and exceptional patient care
• Maintain proficiency across a broad range of diagnostic imaging modalities within the department

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• Current ARDMS certification required
• Current RVT certification required
• Recent, hands-on Obstetrical (OB) ultrasound experience required — candidates must demonstrate independent competency performing 2nd- and 3rd-trimester OB imaging, including fetal anatomy and growth studies
• Ability to independently perform general ultrasound examinations
• A dependable personal vehicle is required; the facility is located in a rural area without public transportation or ride-share options
• Traveler is responsible for securing and funding their own housing prior to the start of the assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital setting
• Familiarity with a broad range of general and OB ultrasound protocols across patient populations of all ages
