Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating | 13–18 Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC/PCU setting, with potential to float to additional units caring for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable passing score
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at least every other holiday as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or the specialty being applied for
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required; co-worker references will not be accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Progressive care/PCU experience strongly preferred
• Experience within a single location for the required specialty tenure is preferred, though not required
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation in a clinical setting
