Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN guidelines
• Manage laboring patients including Pitocin administration with a 1:1 patient ratio during active labor, C-section delivery, and recovery
• Circulate cesarean sections as a core responsibility of this role
• Perform labor management, triage, vaginal deliveries, and support iron infusions
• Utilize GE fetal monitoring equipment and document in CPN Meditech EMR
• Float to Mother-Baby unit as needed and fulfill on-call requirement of 1–2 shifts per schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Demonstrated labor management skills — candidates without this will not be considered
• Experience circulating cesarean sections — candidates without this will not be considered
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and meet on-call obligations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE fetal monitoring systems
• Familiarity with CPN Meditech EMR
• Experience with antepartum patient care (expected ratio of 2–3 patients)
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a passion for maternal-fetal patient outcomes
