Contract | 13-Week Seasonal Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC procedures
- Operate and interpret equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members across day shifts, including rotating weekends
- Demonstrate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and SVE competency, and perform C-section circulation
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- SVE competency and C-section circulation experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in a Level IV or high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
- Previous travel nursing assignments in similar acute care settings
