Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Chart and document patient information using EPIC electronic health records system
• Float to other units as requested based on facility needs
• Adhere to all unit-specific protocols and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
• Maintain requested time off (RTO) to a minimum, with no more than 7 days total during the assignment; all RTO must be submitted at time of initial application

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license in hand at time of submittal, or proof of a valid compact license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with L&D as the most recent clinical experience
• Specialty experience within the last year required
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH and stroke education required
• SSN required at time of submittal; one supervisory reference required at submittal
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the standard base rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with acute care hospital environments and associated compliance standards
• Strong adaptability and willingness to float to other units as needed
