Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting, floating between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units as needed
• Deliver clinical nursing care to a patient population that includes the incarcerated/prison population; comfort and experience with this population is essential
• Monitor and assess maternal and neonatal patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Adhere to facility policies, including a strict no-call policy
• Complete pre-start compliance modules and any assigned HealthStream exams within required deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee state license or compact multi-state license required at time of submission; must be active with no pending status (current Nursys report required)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; both L&D and Mother Baby experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI), NIH, AWHONN, NRP, and STABLE
• Must be comfortable working with the incarcerated/prison population
• First-time travelers and local candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience floating between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units
• Familiarity with LDRP care models and workflows
• Experience working in a correctional or specialized patient population setting
