Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans upon physician referral
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, massage, heat, cold, light, water, electricity, and sound to relieve pain and restore or maintain physical function
• Monitor and document patient progress toward established functional goals
• Collaborate with family members and interdisciplinary health team regarding patient abilities and treatment goals
• Apply knowledge of current orthopedic, neurological, and rehabilitation procedures in patient care

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Active, valid Oregon Occupational Therapist license required
• Current CPR certification required
• Current valid Oregon driver's license required
• Thorough knowledge of therapy procedures, orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures, and rehabilitation practices
• Strong communication skills and effective team interaction, support, and respect

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience in occupational therapy, though new graduates who meet all licensure requirements are encouraged to apply
• Basic computer proficiency including locating and opening documents, completing forms, and managing email communication
