Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit, including management of ED boarders requiring inpatient care while awaiting bed placement
• Perform pre-cardiac catheterization care and manage ports as part of routine patient management
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float as needed between campuses and to Observation, Medical-Surgical, and MS Telemetry units based on census and staffing needs
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic (experience required)
• Adhere to all facility dress code, compliance, and policy requirements, including scrub color (Navy Blue) and no agency or brand logos on apparel

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of Telemetry or relevant RN experience required
• Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization care and port management required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active Kentucky RN license or compact license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS — must be active at time of submission or obtained prior to start
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); Flu vaccination required
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered at the local rate; local candidates are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in or floating to Observation or Medical-Surgical units
• Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments
• Experience providing care to ED boarder patients in an inpatient capacity
