Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) setting, monitoring and managing patients requiring intermediate-level acuity care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition, escalating care as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Kentucky or a compact state license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
