Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2
• Manage and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
• Perform immediate newborn care and high-risk obstetric patient management
• Utilize Baxter Pumps, Philips electronic fetal monitoring, and document in Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR systems
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and CSTs across day shift operations
• Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS/ALS certification required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Circulating experience in Labor & Delivery
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
