Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-acuity antepartum and obstetrical patients in a 19-bed unit
• Manage patients requiring Magnesium Sulfate administration and preterm labor interventions
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret findings in accordance with AWHONN standards
• Maintain a 1:5 patient ratio while delivering safe, evidence-based obstetrical nursing care
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPIN electronic health record systems
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2+ years of high-risk Labor & Delivery or Antepartum experience
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• RNC (Registered Nurse Certified) in a relevant specialty
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health record system
• Experience caring for high-acuity obstetrical patients in a hospital setting
