Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required; weekend coverage may vary based on facility need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population with diagnoses including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological conditions
• Utilize Omnicell for medication management and document patient care using EPIC EMR (minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required)
• Demonstrate Medical Surgical and Telemetry competencies, including the ability to float to MS/Tele floors as needed
• Pass a facility-required EKG exam prior to or upon assignment start
• Float to other units and/or campuses based on census needs; floating will be limited to units and tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within 48 hours of receiving login credentials

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit; 2 years preferred
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• MS/Tele competencies required; must be able to float to MS/Tele floors if needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible; candidates between 50–99.9 miles may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers may be considered based on overall experience
• Experience caring for elderly patients with complex, multi-system disease processes
