Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg Oncology unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, caring for patients receiving chemotherapy, diagnostic services, and symptom management
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias for patients undergoing chemotherapy administration
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, arterial lines, and ports, including blood product administration
• Support infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention initiatives with a heavy departmental focus
• Operate specialized equipment including GE B450 telemetry monitors, Alaris pumps, bladder scanners, and Stryker beds
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity level as needed based on staffing priorities

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BCLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV starts, PICC and central line management, arterial line management, blood product administration, port access, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), ABG interpretation, and assistance with chest tube insertion/removal
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Locals are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
