Contract | Day/Night Rotating Shifts | 3x12-Hour Shifts Only | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC/PCU setting, with potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate or progressive care, including cardiac monitoring and ECG rhythm recognition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate; an acceptable score on both is required
• Complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
• Expected to work at least every other holiday as part of the assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown or the specialty being applied for
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months — co-worker references will not be accepted
• No open background case hits; facility does not accept any license hits
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
• Familiarity with intermediate or stepdown care environments in a high-volume acute care setting
