Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential float coverage to comparable units and the Emergency Department for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, expected to work at least every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Permanent experience within a single facility or location in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and medication safety assessment tools
• Experience working in a large academic or high-volume acute care hospital environment
