Travel RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | 3–4 weekend shifts per schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 9-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
• Operate and manage ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitoring equipment
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions
• Manage IV drip titration and arterial lines; document care using the Meditech system
• Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET, bedside shift report (BSSR), and Press Ganey goals
• Float to Med-Surg or ED as needed to support critical staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with ventilator management and IV drip titration
• Navy blue scrubs required as unit dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supporting or orienting new graduate RNs
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a high-acuity environment
