Cath Lab Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Contract (13 or 26 weeks) | Days, 4x10 Hours (7:00–17:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and Structural Heart cases (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)
- Support Interventional Radiology procedures including lines, drains, embolizations, upper/lower extremity interventions, fistulas, visceral angio/intervention, and stroke thrombectomy
- Assist with neurointervention procedures and CRM device implants
- Float within scope to IR, EP, and vascular as facility needs require
- Participate in on-call coverage, including one on-call shift per week and every 4th weekend</strong>; some Saturdays are included as part of the regular 4-shift weekly schedule
- Document and chart accurately using Epic; willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) is required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
- Valid state license (pending license accepted; processing typically takes 10–12 weeks)
- EP experience, IR experience, vascular experience, monitoring, and neuro experience required
- Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers and declinations not accepted)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CTO, peripherals, venous access, and rhythm interpretation
- Familiarity with Philips X-Ray System, variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, and temporary LVAD support
- Experience with McKesson for Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP
- Epic charting experience strongly preferred
