Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Mid Shift (15:00–03:00) or Day Shift (11:00–23:00) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required if Cancelled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with expected ratios of 1:1 (L&D) and 1:3 (couplets)
• Manage and care for High Risk OB patients as a core component of the role
• Float to Postpartum and High Risk Antepartum units based on unit needs and candidate skill set
• Adapt to shift start times of either 03:00/15:00 or 11:00/23:00, with assignments primarily on days or primarily on nights; reasonable advance notice of at least one week will be provided for shift changes
• May be required to float to sister facilities within the regional network based on staffing needs
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Must possess a valid personal vehicle for use during this assignment
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals considered at an adjusted rate)
• Must be willing and able to float to other units and regional facilities as needed; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with High Risk Antepartum and Postpartum patient populations
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience working in a travel or multi-facility environment
