Travel OB Surgical Tech – LDRP (Night Shift / 13-Week Contract)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical tech support in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit with 7 beds and variable patient ratios based on acuity
- Assist with procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy
- Collaborate within a team of RNs and surgical techs to ensure safe and efficient patient care
- Utilize GE equipment and document patient care accurately using the EPIC system
- Float to other units as needed when census is low per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech, with demonstrated knowledge and experience in a labor and delivery setting
- Current BLS certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Experience with OB/GYN patient population
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with GE obstetric equipment
- Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records documentation
- Previous travel assignment experience in a similar OB/surgical setting
