Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed LDRP unit, supporting patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Deliver postpartum and mother-baby care in addition to labor and delivery duties
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret electronic fetal monitoring data
• Assist with OB surgical recovery, including care following cesarean sections
• Participate in on-call hours as determined by unit staffing needs, typically averaging 16–20 hours per 6-week schedule
• Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and clinical experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current AWHONN certification or C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• Current FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with OB surgical recovery, particularly post-cesarean section care
• Experience providing mother-baby and postpartum nursing care
