Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed LDRP unit, supporting patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
- Deliver postpartum and mother-baby care in addition to labor and delivery duties
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret electronic fetal monitoring data
- Assist with OB surgical recovery, including care following cesarean sections
- Participate in on-call hours as determined by unit staffing needs, typically averaging 16–20 hours per 6-week schedule
- Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and clinical experience
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current AWHONN certification or C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- Current FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with OB surgical recovery, particularly post-cesarean section care
- Experience providing mother-baby and postpartum nursing care
