IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Contract | Days | 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub, pass supplies, and assist during interventional radiology procedures including vascular, neuro, drains, and lines cases
• Set up and break down procedure rooms across a 6-suite IR lab environment
• Support an average of 20–30 cases per day within the IR department (separate from EP and cath lab)
• Operate and work alongside Philips monitoring equipment and document within the EPIC EMR system
• Participate in on-call rotation including weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a 30-minute call response time requirement (approximately 7–9 call shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Complete a 3–5 day department-specific orientation prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Radiologic Technology license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time requirement
• Must comply with a drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an interventional radiology or special procedures environment
• Familiarity with Philips monitoring systems and EPIC EMR
• Experience with vascular, neuro, drain, and line procedures
