Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Shift start times vary: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM | Weekend availability required | Holiday coverage required (2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting within an acute hospital environment
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required to support surgical procedures
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed for call-off situations only
• Float to like units or affiliate facilities within scope of practice to meet staffing needs as required
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, policies, and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work weekends and 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute hospital or Level II Trauma setting
