Travel MRI Technologist

Contract | 13 Weeks | Tuesday–Friday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM | Onsite | 1–2 on-call shifts per month | Every other weekend and holidays on rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations independently within the imaging department, with radiologist availability for questions
- Conduct neuro exams including MRAs and MRIs of the head, neck, and spine
- Perform abdominal exams including MRCPs, MRAs, and MRIs of the aorta, liver, and kidneys
- Perform MSK exams including extremity imaging and arthrograms
- Maintain a safe MRI environment for patients, staff, and visitors at all times
- Document and manage patient information using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
- Ability to work independently in an MRI department with radiologist support available
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care while maintaining MRI safety standards
- Proficiency with MRI equipment (GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T or similar)
- Strong communication skills, both in person and by phone
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to adapt imaging protocols to meet individual patient or physician needs
- Willingness to learn new procedures through onsite and virtual training applications
- Experience with Meditech EMR
