Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Holiday and Weekend Availability Required | Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment
• Support and participate in neurosurgery, spine, complex orthopedic/ortho spine, and complex general surgery including bariatric procedures
• Respond to on-call assignments as required per unit scheduling needs
• Adhere to weekend and holiday scheduling requirements as part of the standard rotation
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain patient safety and quality care standards throughout all phases of the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of surgical/OR or Surgical Tech experience required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma and Neurosurgery setting required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Experience in neurosurgery, spine, complex orthopedic/ortho spine, and complex general/bariatric surgery required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
• Experience in ENT, GU, Plastics, or Burns preferred
