EEG Technologist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics
Location
Indianapolis, IN | Short-Term Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor EEG studies across a range of case types including Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, and Critical Care
- Conduct EEG hookups, routine studies, and patient monitoring for both pediatric and adult patient populations across the facility system
- Support monitoring of adult patients within a dedicated MLD unit and across affiliated hospital locations as needed
- Float to affiliate hospital locations when operationally required
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as required
- Document and chart patient information using Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of EEG experience required; first-time travelers accepted if all other requirements are met
- ABRET certification required
- R.EEG T. credential required
- BLS certification required
- All required licenses must be in hand prior to start date
- Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays per contract; 1 pre-approved time-off request permitted per contract
- Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with sEEG and Ictal SPECT procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system
- Experience working in a Critical Care or Neurotelemetry environment
- Comfort working with both pediatric and adult patient populations
