Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Participate in required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Work at least every other holiday as required by unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU (travel experience accepted)
• Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility location
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the CVICU specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months
