Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for telemetry patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding appropriately
• Perform IV starts and maintain IV access in accordance with facility protocols
• Administer medications accurately and in compliance with established policies
• Collect and coordinate laboratory specimens and review results as part of patient care
• Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Must have experience monitoring telemetry patients
• Must be able to pass a telemetry competency test
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an IMC, PCU, or stepdown unit setting
• Strong general nursing skills including patient monitoring and medication administration
• Familiarity with travel assignment credentialing processes, including state fingerprinting requirements
