Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 52-bed freestanding emergency department setting
• Maintain patient ratios averaging 3:1, with low acuity ratios up to 5:1 and team nursing for pediatric patients
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
• Operate Alaris infusion equipment and document accurately within the Meditech EMR system
• Scan patient and medications with every administration in compliance with unit policy
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and mid-level providers across day and night shift pods

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN license valid in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience or experience in a large emergency department (52 beds or more)
• Meditech EMR experience
• Strong commitment to patient experience and satisfaction
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and adapt quickly
