Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Rotating Call | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an apheresis/dialysis unit at a 1:1 staffing ratio
- Operate specialized apheresis equipment including CellEx for procedures such as Photopheresis, GVHD, BO, and CTCL treatments
- Manage and maintain central lines and ports in accordance with facility protocols
- Participate in rotating call schedule as required by the unit
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required — floating is 100% required of all travelers
- Work a minimum of 2 out of 3 major holidays per contract terms
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license — must be in hand prior to start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Hands-on experience with apheresis equipment or dialysis, central lines, and ports
- Plasma Exchange and/or Red Blood Cell Exchange experience required
- Graduation from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE
- Indiana residents are considered local travelers and are eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Photopheresis procedures
- Familiarity with GVHD, BO, and CTCL patient populations
- Experience operating CellEx or similar apheresis platforms
