Special Procedures Radiology Technologist (IR / Special Procedures)

Contract | Days, 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required (approximately 8 shifts/month, rotating) | Holiday call may be required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of special procedures including endovascular interventions such as FEVAR/PMEG, EVAR, TEVAR, AAA/TAA, angiograms, declots, lysis, stenting, embolization, and TAVRs
- Operate and troubleshoot hybrid Siemens advanced vascular imaging systems including Zeego and Pheno platforms, as well as portable C-arm functions (digital subtraction, road mapping, measurements)
- Utilize specialized endovascular equipment including Penumbra, AngioJet, Shockwave, IVUS, Jet Stream, and Medrad devices
- Manage vascular supplies including balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths in support of procedural teams
- Document patient care and procedural information accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system
- Work independently and effectively under pressure in a high-acuity hybrid OR and interventional radiology environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures
- Hybrid OR experience required
- Greater than 1 year of hands-on experience with Zeego and Pheno imaging systems
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
- Proficiency with EPIC charting and PACS systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Extensive experience with a broad range of endovascular procedures across multiple vascular territories
- Familiarity with a wide variety of vascular intervention devices and manufacturer platforms
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high-volume, high-acuity procedural setting
