Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Rotating between 7:00–17:30 and 9:30–20:00 shifts (shifts are grouped for consistency week to week); on-call and weekend call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) setting at a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Participate in rotating call coverage, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month and one weekday call shift per week; call requirements may vary based on staffing needs
• Operate within the Cath Lab environment, including exposure to radiation; a radiation badge provided by the staffing agency is required and must be in the traveler's possession prior to start
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience required
• Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the staffing agency prior to start; the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Charting proficiency in Epic preferred; must be able to adapt to facility EMR
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or EP environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records
• Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules while maintaining clinical performance standards
