Registered Nurse – Mother Baby/Postpartum

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | 36 Hours per Week | Rotating Days and Nights (every 6 weeks) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift: 7:00–19:30 | Night Shift: 19:00–7:30 | Every other weekend and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Postpartum and Antepartum setting
• Float within skill set as needed, including to the NICU to care for Level II nursery patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic (required)
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and facility compliance standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Epic experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior experience in Postpartum, Antepartum, or Level II Nursery/NICU settings
• Previous travel nursing experience with demonstrated adaptability to float assignments
