Travel Registered Nurse – Endoscopy / GI

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an RN Circulator in an Endoscopy unit with a 1:1 patient ratio (one RN paired with one Endoscopy Tech per room)
• Assist with and support procedures including EGD and colonoscopy
• Operate and maintain Olympus scopes and document using EndoSoft (transitioning to Provation) within a MediTech EMR environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Charge RN, Pre-op RNs, PACU RNs, Endoscopy Techs, and SPD staff
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit guidelines
• Adhere to unit dress code: blue scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy nursing experience
• Demonstrated endoscopy knowledge; candidates without this will not be considered
• Ability to work a Monday–Friday day shift schedule with on-call availability

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong team-player mindset with the ability to integrate into an established, cohesive unit
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with Olympus scopes, EndoSoft, Provation, or MediTech EMR
