Contract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) | Holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as required — floating is 100% required of all travelers
• Fulfill holiday shift obligations, with an expectation to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• May assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license must be in hand prior to submission (temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license application has been submitted)
• Required certifications must be in hand prior to submission — refer to unit-specific requirements for applicable certifications
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Nursing degree from a university accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
• SSN and date of birth required at time of submittal
• 2 supervisor references required
• Must not be a current or recent permanent or PRN employee of this facility within the past 12 months
• Indiana residents are not accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed — first-time travelers are accepted
• Experience in a pediatric or critical care environment
• Familiarity with charge nurse responsibilities
