Contract | Nights | 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) | Holidays required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as required — floating is 100% required of all travelers
- Fulfill holiday shift obligations, with an expectation to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- May assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license must be in hand prior to submission (temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license application has been submitted)
- Required certifications must be in hand prior to submission — refer to unit-specific requirements for applicable certifications
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
- Nursing degree from a university accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation
- SSN and date of birth required at time of submittal
- 2 supervisor references required
- Must not be a current or recent permanent or PRN employee of this facility within the past 12 months
- Indiana residents are not accepted for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed — first-time travelers are accepted
- Experience in a pediatric or critical care environment
- Familiarity with charge nurse responsibilities
