Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients within a 16-bed unit, maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
- Support and assist with vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
- Perform immediate newborn care and manage high-risk obstetric patients
- Utilize Baxter Pumps, Philips electronic fetal monitoring, and document in Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR systems
- Maintain required certifications including NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- High-risk obstetric experience required
- Immediate newborn care experience required
- NRP certification required
- BLS/ALS certification required
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating experience in the OR setting
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink documentation systems
- Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced L&D environment
