Contract | 13 or 26 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Participate in infant-driven feeding practices in accordance with unit protocols
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including weekend rotations and holiday coverage expectations
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Virginia RN license (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification must be in hand at time of submission
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted with certification pending)
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Familiarity with infant-driven feeding protocols
