Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Alternating start times of 07:00–15:30 and 09:00–17:30 | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures on adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting, with a focus on spine diagnoses
• Operate Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI units and utilize PACS system (Visage) for image management
• Perform musculoskeletal imaging of the hip/bony pelvis and knee
• Perform spine imaging including cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, and thoracic regions
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media in accordance with facility protocols; contrast media experience is required
• Document and chart patient information using EPIC (required)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Adult outpatient work setting experience required
• NC license or Compact license acceptable for submission
• Local candidates are welcome; a lower rate may apply for candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of and experience with radiation safety practices
• Experience starting peripheral IVs
