Ultrasound Technologist – Maternal Fetal Medicine / OB-GYN Sonographer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations including fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, umbilical and MCA dopplers, first trimester scans, pelvic scans, sonohysterograms, and HyCoSy
• See up to 8 patients per day across morning and afternoon sessions within a Maternal Fetal Medicine, OB/GYN, midwifery, and REI setting; twin pregnancies count as two scans per session
• Candidates with experience limited to GYN and early dating OB scans may be considered if not fully proficient in MFM scanning
• Document and manage patient imaging using EPIC EMR
• Operate across two sites on a large academic campus; weekend availability required on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Vermont state license required at time of submission
• ARDMS registration with OB/GYN credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Large teaching hospital experience required
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• Must have reliable personal or rental transportation; public transportation is not accessible in this area — all-season or snow tires are strongly recommended November through April

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) scanning
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-specialty women's health environment including REI and midwifery
• Familiarity with large trauma-level, multi-site hospital systems
