MRI Technologist – Radiology / Cardiology

Contract | Days | 2x12-Hour Shifts (12:00, 0:30 shift differential)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of MRI examinations including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and vascular studies (MRA/MRV/MRCP)
• Operate GE and Philips MRI systems to acquire diagnostic-quality images across adult acute care, ICU, and outpatient settings
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media and perform peripheral IV starts as required
• Conduct advanced MRI protocols including CINE (CSF flow study), diffusion (non-brain), and perfusion imaging
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and facility protocols throughout all procedures
• Float between departments, units, and facilities as needed to meet operational demands; licensure in both Kansas and Missouri (or a compact license) is required at time of submission

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in MR (ARRT MR) required
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required; first-time travelers considered
• Active, non-pending licensure in Kansas and Missouri (or compact equivalent) required at time of submission
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with GE MRI and Philips MRI equipment
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Background in adult acute care and/or adult ICU MRI imaging
• Familiarity with advanced protocols such as thoracic MRA, spinal trauma imaging, and temporomandibular joint studies
