Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to designated units serving the same patient population
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at least every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, achieving acceptable scores within the allowed attempts

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required; co-worker references are not accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location (combined experience across locations is also considered)
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG interpretation in an acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large academic or health system environment
