Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every other weekend and rotating holidays | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Rotate between day and night shifts, including every other weekend and rotating holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts (MA) Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
• Ability to adapt to rotating day and night shift schedules
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
