Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting on night shifts
• Float across applicable units as assigned to meet facility staffing needs
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to float to multiple units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced acute care or hospital environment
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Flexibility with scheduling, including limited time-off requests during the contract period
