Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform head-to-toe assessments and conduct bedside shift reports
  • Administer medications and manage intake and output (I&Os)
  • Provide Foley care and nasogastric (NG) tube care
  • Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic charting
  • Operate unit equipment including Omnicell medication systems and Accu-Chek devices
  • Care for patients within a 20-bed unit at a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6; no floating required

Required Qualifications

  • Active Indiana RN license required
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
  • Experience with Omnicell automated medication dispensing systems
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills in a Med-Surg setting
